Life gets serious.
Let’s play on purpose.
I’m Lyndsie Zacheis. I bring people together through play, kindness, and the courage to begin again.
A story of getting back up—and bringing others along.
Help build humanity with one playful act of kindness at a time.
After witnessing violence in Los Angeles, I began inviting people to connect through play in 2014. Grassroots pop-ups and everyday encounters shaped the work that became The Play Way. I officially launched it on April 11, 2020. Two weeks later, an accident led to a 33-day coma, followed by a chapter within California’s justice system. Recovery and the aftermath took years. Those experiences deepened the purpose behind the work I had already begun: creating moments of connection for people ready to see one another differently.
As the founder of The Play Way, I bring purposeful play to businesses, schools, and communities. Our invitation is simple: come play, be kind, and leave something positive behind.
